As per reports, serious road traffic collision occurred at approximately 0715 hours local time (1215 hours UTC) on Saturday (27 June) at the intersection of Paseo de la República Avenue and Miguel Seminario Street in the San Isidro district of Lima, Peru.
• The incident involved a public transport Line 73 bus and a private ambulance. Security cameras operated by the Municipality of San Isidro captured the collision.
• The emergency prompted the deployment of four units of the Peruvian General Volunteer Fire Department, along with personnel from the San Isidro Municipality’s Operations Control Center, the Municipal Rescue Unit, Municipal Ambulance Service, Municipal Security Force (Serenazgo), Municipal Traffic Department, Roadside Assistance teams, and the Peruvian National Police.
• According to the Municipality of San Isidro, seven people sustained injuries in the collision. The injured included four occupants of the public transport bus and three occupants of the private ambulance.
• After receiving pre-hospital medical treatment, all seven injured persons were transported to Javier Prado Clinic for further medical evaluation and treatment.
• To facilitate emergency operations, municipal traffic authorities temporarily closed the affected roads and implemented traffic diversions to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians.
• Authorities have stated that the coordinated response enabled the emergency to be managed promptly. The cause of the collision has not yet been officially announced, and investigations are expected to continue.
