As per reports, on Tuesday (17 December), an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion targeted a vehicle of security forces on polio duty in the Zarqani area of Tehsil Daraban, Dera Ismail Khan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The vehicle was carrying five security personnel, of whom three are confirmed dead and other two were injured in the IED explosion. Further details regarding the incident are awaited.
