As per reports, the Southern Electric Company (SEAL) has announced scheduled power supply outages across multiple districts in the Arequipa department from Tuesday (03 February) through Friday (06 February).

• The staggered power supply outages are scheduled as part of network maintenance and expansion works aimed at improving service reliability.
• On Tuesday (03 February), parts of Arequipa district and José Luis Bustamante y Rivero are scheduled to experience power supply outages between 0730 hours local time (1230 hours UTC) and 1430 hours local time (1930 hours UTC), while areas of Chala (Caravelí Province) are scheduled for power supply outages between 0800 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) and 1300 hours local time (1800 hours UTC).
• Additional outages are scheduled on subsequent days across other districts as per SEAL’s published timetable.
• The scheduled power supply outages are expected to affect the following provinces and districts within Arequipa department, including; Caravelí Province: Chala, Arequipa Province: Arequipa, José Luis Bustamante y Rivero, Paucarpata, La Joya, Vítor, Castilla Province: Andaray, Chichas, Machaguay, Pampacolca, Tipán, Uñón, Viraco, Condesuyos Province: Chuquibamba, Iray, Salamanca, Yanaquihua
