As per reports, a section of Mabel Lake Forest Service Road (FSR) will be fully closed at Torrent Creek starting from Thursday (03 July) for approximately three weeks to facilitate a bridge replacement project.
• The closure, affecting residents and seasonal property owners, is being carried out by the Okanagan Shuswap Natural Resource District.
• The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) has issued a public notice but is not managing the project.
• No access will be permitted through the construction zone during this period.
• Alternate routes include the Cooke Cree, Kingfisher FSR and the Three Valley, Mabel Forest FSR.
