As per reports, the Israeli military conducted an airstrike on a multi-storey building in the Haret Hreik suburb of southern Beirut on Sunday (23 November), killing five people, including senior Hezbollah military official Ali Tabtabai, and injuring 28 others.
• Hezbollah confirmed Ali Tabtabai’s death and stated its leadership would decide on a response.
• Lebanese security forces have cordoned off the affected area as emergency services continue clearance operations.
