As per reports, the Executive Committee of the Association of Full-Time Professors at the Lebanese University announced a strike across all units and branches of the Lebanese University, Beirut, on Tuesday (29 September) and Wednesday (30 September), demanding practical steps towards approving and implementing the full-time employment file for hourly contracted professors.
Reports indicate that the decision was taken during a meeting on Saturday (26 September), with the delayed approval of the full-time employment file cited as the primary issue.
