The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the indicated weather alerts in the following metro cities, as of Sunday (02 November);

• Mumbai and Pune – No warnings have been issued in the IMD forecast for Mumbai and Pune. However, a yellow alert for light rainfall has been issued in the IMD nowcast (valid till 1000 hours IST) for Mumbai only, while no warning has been issued for Pune.
• Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram – No warning has been issued in the forecast or nowcast by the IMD for today.
• Bengaluru – No warning has been issued in the forecast or nowcast by the IMD for today.
• Hyderabad – No warning has been issued in the forecast or nowcast by the IMD for today.
• Chennai – No warning has been issued in the forecast or nowcast by the IMD for today.
• Kolkata – No warning has been issued in the forecast or nowcast by the IMD for today.
• Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar – A yellow alert for heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm, lightning, squall, and strong surface winds has been issued in the forecast for Ahmedabad, while a yellow alert for thunderstorm, lightning, and squall has been maintained for Gandhinagar. Moreover, no warning has been issued in the nowcast for both regions.
