The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued the following Forecast and Nowcast warnings for Manipur on Tuesday (22 September).
• Warning: A yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and squalls at isolated places across all districts of Manipur.
• Nowcast: A yellow alert has been issued for light rainfall of less than 05 millimeters per hour and light thunderstorms with a maximum surface wind speed of less than 40 kilometers per hour in all districts of Manipur. The alert is valid until 1130 hours (local time) on Tuesday (22 September).
