The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert in several districts of Bihar from Thursday (22 February) to Friday (23 February). Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning can be likely in West Champaran, East Champaran, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj, Siwan, and Sheohar.
