As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) issued a heavy rainfall warning for parts of Brazil through Friday (11 April) morning.
• A yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued for parts of Goiás, Minas Gerais, Pará, Ceará, Paraná, Pernambuco, Tocantins, Maranhão, Rio Grande do Norte, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Paraíba, Piauí, Bahia, Amazonas, Rondônia, Amapá, Roraima, and the Federal District. Rainfall between 20 and 30 mm/h or up to 50 mm/day, along with strong wind gusts of up to 60 km/h, is expected.
• An orange rainfall warning has been issued for parts of Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Pará, Amazonas, and Roraima. The forecast includes 30 to 60 mm/h rainfall, with potential totals of up to 100 mm/day, accompanied by strong wind gusts reaching up to 100 km/h.
• The alerts will remain active until 1000 hours (local time) on Friday (11 April).
