As per reports, Senate candidate for the Federal District, Sebastião Coelho (Novo), has called for a demonstration in front of the National Congress in Brasília on Tuesday (15 September) at 0900 hours local time (1200 hours UTC), in connection with the Supreme Federal Court (STF) review of Minister André Mendonça’s decision concerning messages exchanged between Minister Alexandre de Moraes and banker Daniel Vorcaro.
• Reports indicate that the Supreme Federal Court (STF) session is scheduled to begin on Tuesday (15 September) at 1000 hours local time (1300 hours UTC), with the demonstration expected to coincide with the proceedings.
• The Secretary of Public Security of the Federal District, Alexandre Patury, has stated that the Praça dos Três Poderes and the Supreme Federal Court annex are scheduled to have a reinforced police presence. Security authorities are also assessing possible roadblocks depending on the movement of demonstrators.
