As per reports, Decathlon employees in Italy are expected to participate in an eight-hour strike on Saturday (21 December), protesting the company’s refusal to negotiate a supplementary company contract.

• This action is part of a broader national movement against Decathlon’s management, which is accused of ignoring union demands for improved work conditions, fairer wages, and enhanced labor rights.
• The dispute involves several key issues, including work organization, vacation plans, health and safety, gender protections, and the widespread use of part-time contracts with maximum flexibility.
