As per reports, the National Superintendence of Higher University Education (Sunedu) has announced the closure of three universities in Peru, an action that will be implemented on 31 December. The affected institutions are the Latin American University CIMA, the José Carlos Mariátegui University and the Andean University Néstor Cáceres Velásquez.
Sunedu has indicated that it will closely monitor the closure process to ensure that current students can complete their studies without further complications. This process is crucial as it directly affects thousands of students who must find new institutions to continue their education.
