As per reports, the General Confederation of Workers of Peru (CGTP) has announced its participation in nationwide protests scheduled from Wednesday (13 November 13) to Friday (15 November), coinciding with the APEC Summit in Lima.
• The protests will involve marches, strikes, and demonstrations, demanding the repeal of laws benefiting criminal organizations and calling for increased government action against organized crime and corruption.
• The protests will also demand the resignation of President Dina Boluarte and members of Congress, who have been disapproved by a majority of the population.
