As per reports, the National Meteorological Service, under Conagua, has activated a yellow alert on Tuesday (30 April) due to heightened activity observed at the Colima Volcano. This alert will remain in effect for the foreseeable future.
Emissions from the Colima Volcano indicate a height of 500 meters above the volcanic cone, with predominant directions towards the north-northeast, occasionally shifting northward. Affected areas include regions across the states of Colima, Jalisco, Nayarit, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes and San Luis Potosí.
