As per reports, multiple demonstrations, assemblies and signature-collection gatherings are scheduled across Mexico City on Wednesday (02 September).
• At 1030 hours local time (1630 hours UTC), the Minerva collective is scheduled to hold a protest outside the East Men’s Preventive Prison (Reclusorio Preventivo Varonil Oriente).
• At 1200 hours local time (1800 hours UTC), Plataforma 4:20 is scheduled to conduct signature-collection activities at three locations: the Monument to the Mother (Monumento a la Madre), the intersection of Avenida División del Norte and Avenida Cuauhtémoc, and the intersection of Avenida Gran Canal and Circuito Interior.
• At 1300 hours local time (1900 hours UTC), the Organized Undergraduate Community is scheduled to hold a general assembly at the National School of Biological Sciences, Santo Tomás Unit, of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN).
• At 1400 hours local time (2000 hours UTC), the Feminist Self-Management (Autogestión Feminista) collective is scheduled to conduct a signature-collection gathering at Bellas Artes Metro station, which serves Lines 02 and 08 of the Mexico City Metro.
• Additionally, during the day, the Alliance for the Defense of Pensions and Assets is expected to demonstrate outside the Judicial Disciplinary Court, while the Trade Union Regeneration Movement is expected to conduct signature-collection activities at the Institute to Return Stolen Property to the People. Specific timings for these gatherings have not been announced.
