As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for parts of New York on Wednesday (20 November). The advisory will remain valid from 1600 hours (local time) on Thursday (21 November) until 0100 hours (local time) on Saturday (23 November).
• Snowfall is expected in the affected cities, with total accumulations ranging from two to six inches, and locally higher amounts of up to 12 inches in areas above 3,000 feet in elevation.
• The advisory will remain effective in the cities of Woodstock, West Shokan, Prattsville, Tannersville, Kerhonkson, Napanoch, Windham, Sundown, Hunter, Ellenville, and West Hurley.
