As per reports, heavy snowfall is predicted at 1500 feet altitude with accumulation predicted to be six to 24 inches, heaviest above 2000 feet, for which a winter storm is in place in northern Cascade foothill in Oregon, and south of Cascade range foothills in Washington, from 0400 hours on Tuesday (09 January) to Wednesday (10 January).
