As per reports, the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued weather forecast predicting widespread cloud cover, mist, fog, and isolated rainfall across the southern, coastal, and middle regions of Ghana on Tuesday (28 July). Thunderstorms are expected to develop later in the day across the northern and transition belts.

• In southern and coastal Ghana, mostly cloudy conditions are forecast for Aflao, Kasoa, Kumasi, Obuasi, Atebubu, Ejura, and Kintampo. Slight to intermittent rainfall are expected across Anloga, Winneba, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Axim, Accra, Ho, Koforidua, Kwahu Tafo, Akim Oda, Tarkwa, Sefwi Bekwai, and Goaso, with mist affecting several of these coastal and forest areas. Thunderstorms with rainfall are also possible in Kete Krachi.
• Across northern and middle Ghana, misty conditions may affect Kete Krachi, Atebubu, Ejura, Sampa, and Goaso. Mostly to partly cloudy conditions with sunny intervals are forecast for Sunyani, Techiman, Sampa, Yendi, Tamale, Bole, Damongo, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu, Wa, and Jirapa. By late afternoon and evening, thunderstorms with rainfall are expected to affect Wa, Jirapa, Yendi, Bolgatanga, and Nalerigu.
• Temperatures are expected to range from a minimum of 23 degree Celsius along the coast and forest zones to 24 degree Celsius in the north. Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 30 degree Celsius in the coastal and forest zones, 32 degree Celsius in the transition belt, and up to 33 degree Celsius in northern Ghana.
• GMet has also cautioned that sea conditions may remain rough throughout the day.
