As per reports, light snowfall and rainfall are expected in parts of Nepal, while haze is likely to persist in Kathmandu Valley, on Thursday (03 April).

• Due to the influence of westerly and local winds, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces will have partial cloud cover, while light snowfall is expected in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
• In Kathmandu Valley, haze conditions are being reported, significantly reducing visibility. Buildings (including Dharhara), surrounding hills, and mountains are reportedly affected by smog and dense pollution.
• On Wednesday (02 April), Kathmandu was ranked the second most polluted city in the world after Delhi. As of 0700 hours on Thursday (03 April), Kathmandu overall Air Quality Index was recorded at 352, signifying a hazardous level of pollution.
• Stronger winds from Friday (04 April) are expected to improve the air pollution and clear the skies.
