As per reports, weather across UAE on Thursday (14 May), light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly winds are forecast to generate blowing dust, particularly across northern and eastern areas of the country.

• According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), wind speeds are expected to range between 10 kilometres per hour and 25 kilometres per hour, with gusts potentially reaching up to 40 kilometres per hour.
• Temperatures are expected to remain high across major urban centres. Maximum daytime temperatures may reach approximately 39 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi, 36 degrees Celsius in Dubai, and 37 degrees Celsius in Sharjah. Overnight minimum temperatures may fall to around 26 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and approximately 23 degrees Celsius in Sharjah.
• Marine conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to remain slight to moderate during much of the day. However, sea conditions may become rough during the afternoon hours due to strengthening winds.
• Reduced horizontal visibility may occur intermittently in exposed desert and open-road areas because of suspended dust and sand particles.
