As per the Thai Meteorological Department, thundershowers are expected in parts of Southern Thailand on Wednesday (27 November).
The moderate to strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the lower South with heavy to very heavy rains in the South. The moderate wind forces the waves in the lower Gulf up to about two meters high, one to two meters high in the upper Gulf, and above two meters in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves will be about one meter, one to two meters high offshore, and above two meters in thundershowers.
• North: The morning will be cool with fog and a slight decrease in temperature.
• Northeastern: The morning will be cool with fog and a slight decrease in temperature.
• Central: Partly cloudy with strong winds.
• Eastern: Partly cloudy accompanied by isolated rains.
• Southern (West Coast): Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Krabi, Trang, and Satun.
• Southern (East Coast): Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
