As per reports, the National Meteorological Service issued two alerts for low temperatures and a rainfall watch for parts of Mexico on Tuesday (02 January).
• An orange alerts for low temperatures has been issued for Álvaro Obregón, Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta, Tlalpan, and Xochimilco, from 0000 hours (local time) till 0800 hours (local time) with expected temperatures between one and three degrees Celsius.
• A yellow alert for low temperatures has been issued for Azcapotzalco, Benito Juárez, Coyoacán, Cuauhtémoc, Gustavo A. Madero, Iztacalco, Iztapalapa, Miguel Hidalgo, Tláhuac and Venustiano Carranza from 0000 hours (local time) till 0800 hours (local time) with expected temperatures between four to six degrees Celsius.
• Heavy occasional rains are expected in Baja California, Sonora and Chihuahua, Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas and Veracruz, Durango and San Luis Potosí.
