As per reports, due to heavy rainfall, the Surma and Kushiyara rivers in Sylhet, the Manu River in Moulvibazar, and the Halda River in Chittagong flowed above the danger level on Sunday (01 June) night.
The Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) stated on Sunday (01 June) that the water levels in the Kushiyara, Manu, and Khoyai rivers may continue to rise over the next two days and could exceed the danger level. The FFWC added that the heavy rainfall continues upstream of these rivers.
• The water of the Muhuri, Feni, and Halda rivers of Chittagong division may also flow above the danger level.
• According to the FFWC, the water level at the Dalia point of the Teesta River is also flowing at the warning level.
