As per an official announcement issued by the Ministry of Water Supply and Sewerage on Thursday (06 August), consumers across the Municipality of Ulcinj have been urged to use water exclusively for basic needs until further notice by the authorities, due to ongoing disruptions affecting the regular water supply.

• Reports indicate the disruptions are associated with adverse hydrological conditions, extremely high temperatures, a significant reduction in the capacity of all water sources, and excessive water consumption. Consumers have been requested not to use water for irrigating agricultural crops, lawns, gardens or other activities requiring large quantities of water.
• The Ministry of Water Supply and Sewerage announced that additional inspections will be conducted to monitor the rational use of water and the legality of connections to the water supply network. Enforcement measures may be taken against instances of non-compliance under the applicable regulations. The authorities have not specified an end date for the water conservation measures.
