As per reports, the Berlin Process Leaders’ Summit is scheduled to take place in Sveti Stefan, Montenegro, from 21 October and 22 October bringing together Western Balkan leaders, representatives of Berlin Process countries, senior EU officials and representatives of international organisations.
• The summit is planned to be opened by Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajić and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
• The summit marks the culmination of Montenegro’s 2026 chairmanship of the Berlin Process, a regional cooperation platform involving the Western Balkans, EU institutions and other partner countries and organisations.
• Montenegro is chairing the process in 2026 and is hosting the Leaders’ Summit as the concluding high-level event of its chairmanship.
