As per reports, the Cairo Drinking Water Company will implement a 12-hour water supply interruption in several areas on Saturday (05 October) and Sunday (06 October).

• Areas of Ard El Doctor Street, Ezbet Rostom, Ezbet El Gablawi, Ibrahim Bek area, and Street 135 in Shubra El Kheima are reported to be affected by the water supply disruptions.
• This interruption is due to emergency repair work necessitated by a sudden break in the discharge line of the May (2) lifting station, which has a diameter of 800 mm.
• The company has reported to dispatched trucks of potable water to be distributed free of charge in the affected areas.
