As per reports, Johannesburg Water has announced that residents in several Johannesburg suburbs will experience a 72-hour water interruption, starting at 2000 hours (local time) on 06 December and ending at 2000 hours (local time) on 09 December, as part of an infrastructure upgrade at the Hector Norris Pump station.

• The suburbs affected by the 72-hour water interruption include Johannesburg CBD, Newtown, Selby, Jeppestown, Doornfontein, Forest Hill, Turffontein, Rosettenville, La Rochelle, and Turf Club.
• During the scheduled period, all streets in the affected areas will experience a complete water shutdown. Roaming water tankers will be deployed to provide temporary relief to residents.
