As per reports, a Vistara (Indian carrier) flight was forced to divert its Delhi-London bound flight on Friday (18 October) to Frankfurt airport due to a bomb threat. The carrier’s spokespeople announced on Saturday morning (19 October) that the flight landed safely and was also cleared to proceed towards London.
Earlier on Friday (18 October), another Indian carrier Akasa Air was forced to deplane its passengers on a flight headed from Bengaluru to Mumbai due to a security threat.
