The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following Forecast and Nowcast warnings for Kerala on Friday (02 October), as per the latest updates issued on Thursday (01 October).
• Forecast: No alerts have been issued for any district in Kerala on Friday (02 October).
• Nowcast: A yellow alert has been issued for light rainfall of less than 05 millimeters per hour and light thunderstorms with maximum surface wind speeds of less than 40 kilometers per hour in Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Alappuzha. The alert is valid until 0400 hours (local time) on Friday (02 October).
