As per reports, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection a grass fire began in San Joaquin County, California on Saturday (01 June) afternoon hours, which initially burned 450 acres of land.
• As of Sunday (02 June), the wildfire has spread to 14000 acres in San Joaquin County, due to gusts of 40 mph hour winds.
• As of 1430 hours local time on Sunday (02 June), the wildfire injured two firefighters, destroyed at least one structure, caused power outages.
• The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services issued an evacuation order for residents west of the California Aqueduct, south of the Corral Hollow Creek, west to Alameda County, and south to Stanislaus County.
• A section of I-580 is closed in both directions due to the wildfire smoke which has resulted in reduced horizontal visibility.
• The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection suspended all residential outdoor burning of landscape debris such as branches and leaves in Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara and western San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.
