Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysicial and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued weather advisory number 13 at 0500 hours (local time) on Sunday (15 September).

Heavy rainfall is forecast due to the Southwest Monsoon –

• Till Monday (16 September) morning: 100-200mm rainfall is expected at the northern portion of Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Aklan, Antique, and Negros Occidental. 50-100 mm rainfall is expected at Batangas, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, and the rest of MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, and Negros Island Region (NIR).
• From Monday (16 September) morning to Tuesday (17 September): 100-200mm rainfall is expected at the northern portion of Palawan, Aklan, Antique, and Negros Occidental. 50-100 mm rainfall is expected at Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, and the rest of MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, and Negros Island Region.
• From Tuesday (17 September) till Wednesday (18 September): 100-200 mm rainfall is expected at the northern portion of Palawan, Aklan, and Antique. 50-100 mm rainfall is expected at Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, and the rest of MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, and Negros Island Region (NIR).
• Additionally, as of Sunday (15 September), six deaths have been reported due to combined impact of Tropical Storm Freddie and the Southwest Monsoon. However, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) is yet to validate these deaths. 22 people have been injured and two people have been reported missing.
• 203,197 people in 292 barangays across the country were impacted. 36,626 people were displaced with 13,825 moving to evacuation centers while 22,801 took shelter elsewhere.
• A new low-pressure area (LPA) has also been located east of Luzon and it was last spotted around 440 km east of Casigura, Aurora. But it is currently outside the Phillipine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
