As per reports, the nationwide 24-hour public transport strike is set to proceed on Friday (13 December), after the regional administrative court (TAR) of Lazio overturned a government order to limit the strike to four hours.

The strike will impact long-distance, regional, and local train services operated by Trenitalia and Italo, as well as buses, trams, metro systems, taxis, and ferries across Italy. The airline sector is excluded.

• In Rome, urban transport services are likely to pause between 0830 hours (local time) to 1700 hours (local time) and from 2000 hours (local time) until the end of service on Friday (13 December).
• In Milan, disruptions will occur from 0845 hours (local time) to 1500 hours (local time) and from 1800 hours (local time) until the end of service.
• Train services in Rome will be disrupted till 2100 hours on Friday (13 December).
