As per reports, the Greater Chennai Traffic Police (GCTP) withdrew new U-turn restrictions introduced on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR) after the trial resulted in significant traffic congestion along the Thoraipakkam–Perungudi stretch.
GCTP stated that the changes may be reintroduced after further assessment of traffic flow and other operational factors.
