As per reports by the Moore County Emergency Management Coordinator, at least 100 homes were impacted by the wildfires in Hutchinson County, Texas on Wednesday (28 February).

• Upwards of 20 structures in the city of Stinnett, outside the Borger city limits and the city of Fritch were also reported destroyed. Fritch is in Hutchinson and Moore counties.
• Some fires in the aforementioned areas were still active, but most evacuation notices had been lifted as of around 1800 hours local time on Wednesday (28 February). Further search and rescue operations are underway.
• It has been estimated that power and outages in Fritch will be restored by Thursday (29 February). Current areas affected by power cuts can be found here: https://poweroutage.us/area/state/texas.
• Additionally, one death was reported as a result of a wildfire in the Scotts Acres (neighborhood in Stinnett) of Hutchinson County.
• The wildfires have burned over one million acres since Monday (26 February). As of afternoon hours on Wednesday (28 February), at least five wildfires were still active, with the largest, the Smokehouse Creek Fire, reaching 850,000 acres. The fire in Moore County covered an estimated 142,000 acres.
• As of evening hours on Wednesday (28 February), containment percentages for some fires were as follows:
Smokehouse Creek Fire: three percent contained
Windy Deuce Fire: 30 percent contained
Grape Vine Creek Fire: 60 percent contained
Magenta Fire: 65 percent contained
687 Reamer Fire (Hutchinson County): 10 percent contained
