According to reports, Wellington’s train operator Transdev and the Rail Union are meeting on Friday (20 September) for bargaining talks as industrial action continues to disrupt services for thousands of commuters. At 0930 hours (local time), 13 trains had been cancelled and another seven had bus replacements.

Transdev has requested more buses to go on standby at stations around the region on Friday (20 September) to replace any canceled trains at short notice.
