As per reports, as of Monday (27 January) evening, the Palisades fire was 95 percent contained, burning over 23,400 acres, with 6,837 structures destroyed, 1,017 damaged, and 12 confirmed fatalities. The Hughes fire was 98 percent contained, burning 10,400 acres, with evacuation orders in Castaic Lake reduced to warnings. The Eaton fire was 99 percent contained, burning over 14,000 acres, with 9,418 structures destroyed, 1,073 damaged, and 17 confirmed fatalities.

• All evacuation orders for the Palisades and Eaton fires have been lifted. Palisades residents can pick up re-entry passes at Lot 3 on Pacific Coast Highway between 1000 hours and 1700 hours (local time) daily. Updated evacuation instructions for the Hughes fire are available online.
• The Hughes burn scar, encompassing Santa Clarita, Acton, and Lake Castaic, remained under a flood watch until 1000 hours (local time) on Monday (27 January) due to the slow-moving cold and wet weather system affecting the region. Isolated showers are expected to persist across the Los Angeles Basin through Tuesday (28 January).
• The 5 Freeway at the Grapevine has reopened on Monday (27 January) after being closed for an extended period due to snowfall.
• As of 2230 hours (local time) on Monday (27 January), approximately 14,215 households across California have reported power outages.
• The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a freeze warning for areas including Santa Maria, Ojai, Buellton, Lompoc, Oak View, and Vandenberg Space Force Base, which will remain in effect until 0900 hours (local time) on Tuesday (28 January).
• The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office reported one additional fire-related fatality on Monday (27 January), increasing the total number of deaths to 29.
