Update on fire incident at Tokyo Haneda Airport on Tuesday (02 January)

As per reports, several flight disruptions have been reported after the fire incident at a runway at Tokyo’s Haneda airport on Tuesday evening (02 January). The Philippine Airlines’ flight- PR424 from Manila to Haneda has been put on hold and is awaiting clearance. Five crew members of the coast guard plane have been reported dead.

Until around 1800 hours, all four runways at Haneda were closed; however, the airport has managed to reopen all except runway- C later on Tuesday (02 January).
