As per reports, the following are the updates for escalations in Syria as of Monday (03 February):
• An Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighter was killed and four others were injured in airstrikes by a Turkish drone which targeted an SDF military post on Deir Hafer frontline in the eastern countryside of Aleppo as of Sunday (02 February) .
• Meanwhile, six SDF fighters were killed in clashes with factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” on the frontlines of Qarrah Quzaq and Teshreen dam in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
• Moreover, four Turkish-backed militiamen were killed and several military vehicles were destroyed in an attack by SDF on gatherings of factions of the “National Army” on Qarrah Quzaq frontline.
• Turkish forces and their proxies fired four artillery shells on position on the western frontline- Ail silos frontline.
• Turkish forces also fired another shell on the outskirts on Hawalk village in Tal Abyad countryside in northern Al-Raqqah. However, no casualties have been reported.
• This comes in light of growing tension in north-eastern Syria and the continuation of military operations targeting populated areas and infrastructure.
