According to reports from the Ministry of National Defense (MND) of Taiwan, 22 People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft and seven People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 0600 hours (local time) on Monday (28 October). Of these, 17 aircraft crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern, central, southwestern, and eastern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). The MND stated that they have been monitoring the situation and responding accordingly.
