As per reports, unionised airport workers in Italy plan to strike nationwide, from 0001 to 2359 hours local time on Monday (08 January), to demand improved pay and working conditions.
• The industrial action is expected to impact airport ground services and security operations at the following airports: Florence (FLR), Milan Linate (LIN), Milan Malpensa (MXP), Rome Fiumicino (FCO), Treviso (TSF), Venice (VCE).
• Flights from 0700 to 1000 hours and 1800 to 2100 hours local time on Monday (08 January) are likely to stay operational.
