As per reports, between 1000 hours and 1900 hours (local time) on Saturday (26 April), a public gathering initiated by the Organization for the Defense of Women’s Rights and Interests is taking place at the Constitution Square of Bucharest, to protest against discrimination against people with disabilities.
The second protest will take place between 1100 hours and 2300 hours and aims to ‘raise awareness among the population about the importance of voting’. The program is as follows:
• From 1400 hours to 1530 hours (local time), there will be public gathering on the sidewalk adjacent to the park near the National Theater.
• Between 1530 hours to 1630 hours (local time), the protest march will take place. The affecetd routes are: Boulevard Gheorghe Magheru, Piața Romană, continue on Boulevard Lascăr Catargiu, Pass Piața Victoriei, Boulevard Aviatorilor, Ion Mincu Street, Șos. Pavel D. Kiseleff, and Arc de Triumf alveolus (intersection with Bd. Mareșal Constantin Prezan).
• From 1630 hours to 1700 hours (local time), public are expected to gather on Arc de Triumf alveolus.
