As per reports, engineering works will take place from Saturday (01 February) to Sunday (02 February) affecting multiple train routes in South London, Surrey, and Sussex.
These works will result in the cancellation of several Southern Rail services, including those between South Croydon, Oxted, East Grinstead, and Uckfield. Services between Haywards Heath, Brighton, and Lewes will experience disruptions, with replacement bus services operating on affected routes.
• Further disruptions will occur between Wembley and Watford Junction, where no trains will run between Shepherd’s Bush and Watford Junction during specific hours on Saturday (01 February) evening and Sunday (02 February) morning.
• On Sunday (02 February), no trains will operate between South Croydon and Oxted, East Grinstead, or Uckfield, with replacement buses running between Purley and East Grinstead, halting at Upper Warlingham, Oxted, Crowborough, and Uckfield.
• Services between Haywards Heath and Brighton, as well as Brighton and Lewes, will also be suspended, with replacement buses operating between Brighton, Falmer, and Lewes.
• Amended train services will run between Lewes and Eastbourne, Hastings, Ore, and Seaford, while London Victoria–Brighton trains will be diverted via Hove, resulting in extended journey times.
• From 2000 hours local time on Saturday (01 February), until 1200 hours local time on Sunday (02 February), and again after 2100 hours local time on Sunday (02 February), no trains will run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.
