As per reports, the NTR Police Commisionerate has imposed traffic restrictions in Vijayawada on Friday (13 December), beginning from 0700 hours till 1700 hours, due to Chief Minister (CM) N. Chandrababu Naidu’s launch of Swarnandhra@2047 Vision Document at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium. Here are the additional details:

• -No vehicles except those associated with the event will be allowed between Benz Circle and the Police Control Room along Mahatma Gandhi (Bandar Road).
-Eat Street will remain closed from Seetharamapuram Junction on Eluru Road (Deepthi Junction) to RTA Junction on MG Road.
-Water Tank Road will be restricted from Sikhamani Centre to Chuttugunta Centre.
• Diversions for RTC buses:
– Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada: Buses diverted at Ramavarappadu Ring, allowed into the city via Gunadala, Padavala Revu, BRTS Road, GS Raju Road, Eluru Locks, Old Government Hospital Road, PCR, and PNBS.
-Machilipatnam to Vijayawada: Buses allowed via Auto Nagar Gate, Benz Circle, Mahanadu Road, Ramavarappadu, Eluru Road, Gunadala, Chuttugunta, Deepthi Junction, Apsara Junction, PCR, and PNBS.
-PNBS to Visakhapatnam: Buses rerouted through PCR Junction, RTC Y Junction, Challapalli Bungalow, Hanumanpet, Eluru Locks, GS Raju Road, BRTS Road, Padavala Revu, Gunadala, and Ramavarappadu Ring.
-PNBS to Machilipatnam/Gudivada: Buses will use Eluru Road, Ramavarappadu Ring, Enikepadu Junction, and Tadigadapa 100-feet road.
• City buses between Benz Circle and PNBS will follow a detour through Benz Circle, Ramavarappadu Ring, Eluru Road, and PCR.
• Autos: No autos will be allowed between Benz Circle and Police Control Room during the restriction hours. However, emergency Vehicles such as 108 ambulances and other emergency vehicles will have unrestricted access to all routes.
• Traffic Diversions on Highways:
-Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam and vice versa: Vehicles diverted at Ibrahimpatnam and Hanuman Junction via G. Konduru, Mylavaram, and Nuzvid.
-Visakhapatnam to Chennai and vice versa: Rerouted at Hanuman Junction Bypass via Gudivada, Pamarru, Avanigadda, Repalle, Bapatla, Chirala, Throvagunta, and Ongole.
-Chennai to Hyderabad and vice versa: Traffic allowed between Medarametla, Addanki, Piduguralla, Nadikudi, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda, and Narketpalli.
-Guntur to Visakhapatnam and vice versa: Diverted at Budampadu via Tenali, Vemuru, Kolluru, Vellaturu Junction, Penumudi Bridge, Avanigadda, Pamarru, Gudivada, and Hanuman Junction.
• Government and private employees working along MG Road are advised to reach offices before 0800 hours due to restrictions in place until 1300 hours.
