The Kolkata Traffic Police have imposed traffic restrictions ahead of the planned religious procession of Sri Sri Gawarja Mata Puja in Kolkata on Monday (31 March) and Tuesday (01 April).

• Movement of all types of goods vehicles will be restricted along the following roads from 1600 to 0000 hours on Monday (31 March) and Tuesday (01 April):
• Rabindra Sarani from the crossing of M G Road up to Vivekananda Road.
• Strand Road North (from the crossing of Cross Road (V) up to Nimtala Ghat Street).
• Mahatma Gandhi Road from the crossing of Rabindra Sarani up to Mullick Street.
• Jadulal Mullick Road from the crossing of K K Tagore Street up to Nimtala Ghat Street.
• Cotton Street from the crossing of Rabindra Sarani up to Kalakar Street.
• K K Tagore Street from the crossing of Mullick Street up to Rabindra Sarani.
• Vivekananda Road from the crossing of Rabindra Sarani up to Central Avenue.
• Strand Road, Maharshi Debendra Road, Digamber Jain Temple Road, and Strand Bank Road.
• Parking of vehicles will be prohibited on the following roads from 1400 to 2300 hours on Monday (31 March) and Tuesday (01 April):
• Rabindra Sarani, Maharshi Debendra Road, Vivekananda Road, Cotton Street, Digamber Jain Temple Road, Kali Krishna Tagore Street, Nawab Lane, Jagannath Ghat Road, Nalini Seth Road, Kalakar Street and Jogendra Kaviraj Row, Strand Road in front of Rajakatra, Strand Bank Road, Sir Hariram Goenka Street, and Bysack Street.
• Vehicular traffic may also be diverted from any of the arterial and feeder roads by the traffic police on duty as and when considered necessary in the interest of the public on both days.
