As per a notification issued by the Commissioner of Police, Mysore the following traffic arrangements will apply in view of vote counting on Tuesday (04 June).

• With vote counting taking place at the Maharani Mahila College of Commerce and Management, Valmiki Road, Mysore, vehicular movement and parking on the roads around the counting venue shall be prohibited.
• From 0500-1700 hours, vehicular traffic will be restricted on the following routes:
• Two lanes of Hunsur Road from Kalamandir Junction to Paduvarahalli Junction. All types of vehicles plying on the sides are restricted.
• Traffic of all types of vehicles plying on the road from Valmiki Road – KRS Road Junction to Hunsur Road Valmiki Road Junction is restricted.
• Vehicular traffic of all types plying on Adipampa Road from Mathru Mandi Circle to Valmiki Road Leela Chennai Junction is restricted.
• The alternate routes are as follows:
• Vehicles traveling from Mysore city towards Hunsur from DC Office Archgate Junction and vehicles traveling towards Virendra Heggade Circle take a left turn near Kalamandir Junction and reach Kukkarahalli Railway Gate Junction- Dr. Proceed on Padma Circle- VM Junction- Bogadi Road.
• Vehicles coming to Mysore from Hassan, Madikeri, Hunsur will take a left turn at St.Joseph Junction and proceed via Temple Road- BC Angaiah Circle- KRS Road.
• Vehicles coming to Mysore from Hassan, Madikeri, Hunsur will take a right turn at Paduvarahalli Junction and proceed through Bayaluranga Mandir Road- VMD Junction.
• For KSRTC buses plying towards Hunanur from Mainur city, the following route will apply: Ramaswamy Circle- Muda Junction- Metropole Circle- Left Turn Hunsur Road Kalamandir Junction- Left Turn- Kukkarahalli Railway Gate Junction- Dr. Proceed on Padma Circle- VM Junction- Bogadi Road and reach Hunsur Road via Bogadi Ring Road.
• KSRTC buses coming to Mysore city from Hassan side will take a left turn at Centsafe Junction and take a right turn at Temple Road at Nagi VVpuram Roundabout and proceed via KRS Road – Dasappa Roundabout – Metropole Roundabout.

• Further, City police have reportedly implemented prohibitory orders in the limits of the police commissionerate from 1200 hours on Monday (03 June) to 0500 hours on Wednesday (05 June) to facilitate counting votes in Mysuru. Accordingly, gathering of people in groups of more than five within a 200m radius of the counting centre and entryof unauthorised persons to the counting centre has been banned.
