As per reports, on Tuesday (29 April), the Zagreb Police Department will carry out a preventive and repressive traffic enforcement action. The primary objective of this operation is to enhance traffic safety by targeting serious traffic violations among drivers of motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, and personal vehicles.
• Special attention during the enforcement action will be given to violations including improper speeding by motorcycle riders, failure to use protective helmets by drivers and passengers of motorcycles and mopeds, and failure to use protective helmets by drivers of personal vehicles.
• Authorities will also focus on offenses such as driving with expired licenses, operation of unregistered vehicles, driving without the proper license category, failure to properly display license plates on motorcycles and mopeds (including bent or concealed plates), and technical malfunctions of vehicles.
• Noise level measuring devices will be deployed during this operation. Repeat traffic offenders will be subject to heightened scrutiny.
