As per reports, the Taiwan Lantern Festival due to take place between 12 to 23 February this year is expected to bring about traffic diversions in Taoyuan. The festival is expected to be held at Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Station and other areas. The following areas may be affected:

• Reportedly, the Central Police is preparing alternative routes to de-congest roads around Qingpu Shopping Mall.
• Important scenic spots during the festival likely to be crowded include the Renhai Palace and Qingpu Business Circle (Huatai Famous Products City, Land Square, IKEA).
• Traffic monitoring in the Zhongli District is also expected to ensure smooth transition of traffic.
