As per reports, the traffic department has announced diversions for the IPL matches scheduled at the Wankhede Stadium from Thursday (11 April) to Wednesday (17 April). The following changes have been made to the regular traffic pattern:

• To ensure smooth traffic flow, Mumbai traffic police have issued new guidelines and traffic restrictions in the Marine Drive and Churchgate areas.
• Given that Wankhede Stadium lacks parking facilities, spectators are encouraged to utilise special train services or other forms of public transportation.
• Adjacent routes will be designated as no-parking zones to facilitate uninterrupted traffic flow. No parking will be allowed from 1200 hours to 2355 hours on Thursday (11 April) and Sunday (14 April), as well as 03, 06, and 14 May.
• The following roads will be designated as no-parking zones: ‘C’ road (northbound), ‘D’ road, ‘E’ road, ‘F’ road, and ‘G’ road along NS Road in Marine Drive. NS Road (both south and northbound) from Mafatlal Bath Signal to Air India Junction, as well as Veer Nariman Road (both south and northbound) from Churchgate junction to Sundar Mahal junction, will also have no parking. Vehicles parked in these areas will be issued e-challans and towed away promptly.
• Furthermore, ‘D’ road, ‘F’ road, and ‘E’ road along NS Road will be designated as one-way streets.
• Instructions for accessing the stadium are as follows:- Spectators with tickets for gate numbers 1, 2, and 7 should disembark at Churchgate station and proceed towards ‘D’ road.- Spectators with tickets for gate numbers 4 and 5A should disembark at Marine Lines station and proceed towards ‘F’ road.- Spectators with tickets for gate number 3 should disembark at Churchgate station and proceed towards the NS Road footpath.- All spectators arriving via NS Road should utilise the footpath instead of the road.- Spectators arriving by car should disembark at designated alighting points marked with signage on NS Road.
