As per reports, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s attendance at the Shiv Sena (Shinde group) party’s Shiv Sankalp campaign gathering at Mukai Chowk, Kiwale, on Saturday (06 January), has resulted in alterations to the traffic flow in the Dehu Road and Kiwale area.
Commissioner of Police (Traffic) has issued new instructions, which will be in effect from 0900-1200 hours on Saturday. However, certain vehicles providing essential services such as police, ambulance, fire department, petrol and diesel tankers, PMPML buses, and school buses are exempted from these changes.
• Closure of Mukai Chowk to Adarsh Nagar Road: – The road is inaccessible for all vehicles, except for those involved in the event.
• The road leading from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (Shinde Petrol Pump) to Mukai Chowk will be temporarily closed, with the exception of vehicles involved in the event. Alternative Route- Vehicles from Mumbai to take left side service road from HP Petrol Pump.
• To exit at Kiwale Chowk from the Mumbai Expressway Closure, entry is strictly prohibited for all vehicles, except for event vehicles. Vehicles coming from Mumbai, an alternative route is available. A left turn can be taken from the HP Petrol Pump onto the service road. Then, proceed to turn left at the Sameer Banquet and Lawns Underpass. This route will lead towards Ravet Gaothan.
• Approaching Krishna Veg Hotel Chowk from Pune Closure: – Access is strictly forbidden for all vehicles (excluding event vehicles). Alternate Route: Vehicles heading from Pune to Mumbai will utilize the express highway leading to Mumbai.
